Close proximity to the Porur Lake prompted us to move the living spaces safely above the Stilts for fear of floods. with two storeyes above and a small AV room in the stilt floor accessed from the first level, the house is planned around a central ventilation shaft which also acts as a major lilght source. Designed in a open-plan manner the interior spaces are fused with minimum walls. The View of the Porur lake and the strong breeze from the lake side are experienced throught he Balcony on the top floor.
